Brief Description:  working on the cockpit side skins

After the rivet-fest last night, I was too excited to sleep late. After breakfast and reading the paper, (Miss Vick was still asleep since it is Saturday) I dedided to go into the basement to see what was next in the plans. Well, one thing led to another and before you knew it I was clecoing the cockpit side skins onto the fuselage skeleton (all in my bathrobe). After Vick got up and going, we went over to her mother's house and we worked on refurbishing her gazebo (which I built 20 years ago). The squirrels had chewed up the railing and several pieces were warped with age. So, we undertook to replace all of the railing caps and balusters. It was exhausting work. At about 6:30 p.m., my mother in law called a truce and took us out to dinner. We then came home, took a long shower and collapsed onto the couch. Vick started watching the final 4 basketball tournament, which bored me to tears. So, I slipped down to the basement and proceeded to squeeze as many rivets as I could reach on the cockpit side skins. Again, I was in my bathrobe. It wasn't a pretty site. Hence the absence of photos tonight.
