Brief Description:  Finished drilling the bottom skins

Tonight I worked alone. It was a bit tough to drill on the last of the bottom skins, because it is good to have someone positioned under the fuselage while another person drills from the top. That way, the bottom person can jockey the bulkheads to make sure that the top driller is getting the holes in the middle of the bulkhead flanges. With one person, you have to dart back and forth like a crazed mongoose to keep things straight while you drill. The last bottom skin, the tail cone, went on with just a little persuasion. Then, I drilled the curved parts of the middle side skins. All of the holes came out in the middle of the flanges, which was a great relief. With that, I stepped back and could see the entire fuselage (bottom) skinned from firewall to tail. Lookin good! Now, I have a little more to do in the cockpit area before I blow the whole thing apart to perform the aluminum mantra; debur, scuff, dimple, prime and then rivet. After that, the fuselage will come out of the jig.
