Brief Description:  Fabricated rear seat belt brackets

Back from the RV fly in at Lakeland, I was itching to get back into the shop. I hit a little snag, however, when I read in the plans that I need to fabricate the rear seat belt brackets with .125 X 1" X1.5" aluminum angle. I searched for about an hour and could not find any aluminum angle with those dimensions. I then searched the original shipping list to find that no such angle had been shipped to me. I then tried to call Vans on the west coast, but they were already closed. I then e-mailed them to see what was the deal. Later, I checked Luis Luciani's web site and saw that he had the same problem almost a year ago on his project. He found that you are supposed to make the parts from s.5" X 2" angle stock. Thanks to Vans, I wasted an hour. Thanks to Luis, I am back on track.
