Brief Description: Drilled the forward floor skin to the fuselage ske
Tonight I spent some time noodling over the forward lower longerons (they are uppermost in the photographs because the fuselage is upside down in the jig). I got both of the landing gear weldments bolted to the center section jig and then I fiddled with the lower longerons until they fit just right. I had to file some around the landing gear weldments and I also re-twisted them to get a better fit. Then, I drilled the floor to the longerons and the engine mount doublers on the back side of the firewall. Finally, I drilled the floor to the angle on the firewall aft side and the aft most part of the center section bulkhead. Getting the first skin on the fuselage is pretty exciting.
