Brief Description: Finished Left Elevator, started on the right
I finished riveting the left elevator. I worked it out so that I could Squeeze all but one rivet near the trailing edge. I had to drive that one with the hatchet as a bucking bar. Everything seems to have turned out straight.I started on the right elevator. It is the hardest because it has the trim tab and the trim tab actuator. Like the right elevator, the tip ribs were a bear to cleco together. I drilled the spar then clecoed the skeleton together. I then fit the skin to the skeleton with clecoes. Time to call it a night.
