I ordered the R-704 rib over the internet last weekend. While I am waiting for the part to come from Vans, I started on the elevators. I began by snipping out the elevator stiffeners and cutting the tapers on the band saw. I then sanded the rough edges down on the stationary sander, but I ran out of sand paper. I'll buy some more and finish sanding them tomorrow.
