Brief Description:  Finished canopy rail

I had a limited time to work on the plane tonight because I was visiting my mother in law, Mary Charles Surber, in rehab. Last week, she broke her hip and is having to spend a few weeks in rehab to get walking again. She is a great mother in law and I miss having her around. Tonight I finished the canopy rail by drilling a slew of lightening holes in the spacer bar (as per the plans) and then countersinking and deburring everything. I even polished the sides of the spacer bar because I will not be able to reach them once they are riveted to the flange. Then, I used the double flush riveting technique to attach the flange to the spacer bar. Now that the bar is all riveted together, it will be fastened to the top of the fuselage skin with #6 screws and nuts.
