Brief Description:  Drilled Z brackets for nutplates

Friends Jim Anderson and Dr. Phil Rast came by the shop today. I was trying to figure out how to attach some nutplates to the Z brackets so that I could drill them out for the nutplates. I purchased a 3/16 tap at Cofer Brothers Hardware, but it turned out that I got the wrong thread count (or whatever you call it). Jim had a good idea to just put enough washers on the bolt to allow it to engage the threads of the nutplate without going so far that you could not turn it with your fingers. It worked like a charm.I drilled out the Z brackets for the nutplates on the left wing.
