Brief Description:  Left wing skeleton prep

Today was a big day. I first laid out all of the ribs that were going on the left wing spars. I then assembled the spars and ribs with clecoes on the work table. It will go into the wing jig later. Then I had to drill out some rivets in the rear spar that I should not have placed upon rear spar assembly. Everything went together well. I marked each rib and checked the plans 3x to make sure that I had the right ribs in the right places on the spar.Next came the hard part. I had to debur and scotchbrite all 14 ribs. Boy, are my arms tired. Finally, I primed all of the ribs in the garage. It was one of the first cold nights of the season, so I had to bring in a heater to warm it up a little for the paint to go on right. I finally finished priming a little after midnight.I diid not get any photographs of the project today, but Vicki was upstairs working on the computer with Cookie in her lap, so I took a picture.
