Brief Description: Constructed wing jig and rib straightening station
I purchased 8' of 1/8' thick aluminum angle at Home Depot and cut it in half for the wing jig. I then screwed it to my posts and leveled the arms. A few tennis balls on the ends should help prevent noggin injuries.I also took a square of plywood and sanded the edges to make a wing rib straightening station. I can then straighten and flute the wing ribs in front of the tv. I will use an aluminum angle section to help determine when the flanges are 90 degrees to the web. When I took the photo of the rib station (sounds like a BBQ joint) my wife was watching the Lifetime Channel (all chick flicks, all the time). Something tells me I will be watching more of the Lifetime Channel in return for my wife's permission to straighten wing ribs in the den.
