Brief Description:  Inventoried the wing kit

Jim Anderson came over and we unloaded the wing kit from the trailer to the basement. We then inventoried every part of the wing kit. I went to Walmart and purchased another parts bin for the extra hardware parts.Jim and I then moved one of the columns in the basement about 14" so that I can have 114' for the wing jig uprights. We did it with a sledge hammer and some elbow grease. We then marked the parts bins and placed every rivet, nut and screw in its proper plastic drawer. It was meticulous work, but it will be worth it not to have to go searching for every part.Tonight I spent some head scratching on how I will begin construction of the wings. I taped the gaps in the top and bottom of the wing spars to prevent metal shavings from working their way up there. I then tried to figure out how I will drill and countersink the gillion plate nuts in the spar. First, I will have to purchase #6 and #8 countersink bits. Then, I will have to fabricate a little jig plate to steady the countersink while I am cutting. Jim and I mulled it over and he came up with an interesting jig which I may try. Otherwise, I may try a jig like Dan Checkoway used with a slight modification.
