Brief Description:  More fuel vent lines and start on fuel injection s

Tonight was Wednesday night supper at church, so I got down to the shop a little late. First, I fabricated and installed the two short lines between the fuel tank vent line and the fitting on the side of the fuselage. Previously, I fabricated the vent lines inside the fuselage. These little lines are between the fuselage and the wing. It was more difficult to fabricate these short lines, because your length has to be very close. I cut the first one twice and it was still too short. The second one was about 1/4" too long and that did not work either. Finally, the third try worked. I then cut the line for the other side to the same length. Even then, I had to wrestle a little bend into each vent line to get them to fit. One cool thing; I got to tighten the AN tubing fittings with the flare nut wrenches Jim Anderson gave me last Christmas. They worked great. Next, I tackled the fuel injection system. My first task was to mount the fuel filter with two big adel clamps (aluminum strap loops that are cushioned with rubber). I used a little trick I picked up on the internet by holding the clamps shut with zip ties until I could get the bolt and nut started. Then, I cut off the zip tie and finished tightening the bolt. Worked well.
