I have been away from the project for way too long. As a partial excuse, we went on a family vacation to Ft. Lauderdale. While there, I obtained a backup attitude instrument which I will install on top of the glare shield over the instrument panel. This instrument also gives a good indication when there is turbulence. Tonight, I finished fabrication of the rear seat back, except for the final painting. I am now all out of both primer and enamel. I will buy some more soon. Next, I have to tackle installing the wings into the fuselage. I think I will be able to do so in the basement by turning the fuselage and using the longest part of the basement for the wingspan. Of course, I will have to take the wings back off before I remove the plane from the basement. This will be a big step and I am very excited. Hopefully, I can fit the wings before I leave for Oshkosh in two weeks.
