Brief Description: Big weekend then cleaned the shop
|

I had a very active weekend, but still managed just a little shop time. On Friday night, my Dad and Mom took Vicki and I to a fundraisiing dinner at the Fox Theater in downtown Atlanta. On Saturday, I attended the Georgia Tech Homecoming festivities. First, I saw the Rambling Wreck Parade, which I had not been to since I was a freshman in 1973. Then, Vick and I went to the game (vs. Army) with our oldest son, Drew. Tech won and we had a great time. The weather was absolutely perfect, about 73 degrees and sunny. On Sunday, we attended church with Drew and his wife, Anna, and then we all went out to lunch. I finally got into the shop on Sunday afternoon. I spent a little over an hour fabricating the elevator push tube. Later that evening, I finally broke down and cleaned up the shop. I must have swept out 10 pounds of dust.
