I have not worked on the project for quite some time because other events have conspired to keep me away. This past weekend, I had some free time, but was sick as a dog after eating some tainted mussels. All day Saturday I moaned on the couch, praying for death. By Sunday, thanks to some stellar nursing from Miss Vick (the wife, not the airplane) a bona fide RN, I was feeling good enough to sneak down into the shop. After placing a mega fan in the doorway to evacuate the fumes, I proceeded to start finish painting the cockpit. I also painted some tonight. Before I painted the left forward section of the cabin, I glued in the pilot's air vent plenum onto the left side of the fuselage skin (on the inside) with proseal. Next, I will mask off the parts of the interior that I don't want painted and finish up the forward floor (where the pilot's feet go).
