The day after I return from Oshkosh, I went to pick up my finishing kit at the truck terminal. The Finishing kit includes the canopy, the engine cowling, the engine mount and the landing gear. The delivery was made even more exciting when my two friends, Sam Beale and Jim Anderson, showed up to help me unpack the crate. With all of the wrapping paper, I felt like it was Christmas morning. In no time we got everything put away. I put the canopy in the unused upstairs bonus room to keep it safe from scratches and cracks until it is time for installation. I still have a good deal left to build on the fuselage, but it is good to know that I now have all of the parts to finish the basic structure in house.
