Tonight I got a late start because I had to attend a Habitat for Humanity Board Meeting. I would rather swing a hammer at a build site for 10 hours than spend 1 hour at a committee meeting. Necessary evil. When I finally got down into the shop, I finished fabricating the parts necessary to build the battery box. Then, I prevailed upon Vicki to come down and hold the tray to the firewall while I back drilled it onto the firewall. Right now, everything is clecoed together, but it looks good and fits fine. Next, I will finish all of the parts, prime them and then rivet everything together. I will also need to get some high temperature paint to coat it before riveting it into the firewall for good.
