Tonight I disassembled the fuselage jig. Since I assembled the jig with drywall screws, it came appart fairly easily. However, I had nailed the jig to the cement floor and when I pulled the nails, they spalled the concrete (made little craters) fairly badly. Oh well, I can always patch those holes later. I would have tried to preserve the jig for someone else, but Vans now makes their 8 fuselage kits fully pre-punched, making the jig unnecessary. After I swept up all of the debris, I rolled the fuselage into the area formerly occupied by the jig. Now, I will get to work populating the (now upright) fuselage with the components necessary for flight.
