Sam Beale came over tonight. God bless him. I needed a riveting partner and Sam appeared. First, I drove the ten bottom skin rivets which attached the forward botttom skin to the firewall. The rest of the rivet holes are left open for the ramp to be riveted in later. Next, we started riveting the middle bottom skins. Everything went fine until we came to the intersections of the center section to the middle seat ribs. There was no possible way to buck those rivets, so we used two 5/32" pull rivets with dome heads. It is on the bottom of the fuselage, so what the heck. It doesn't look all that bad. Another half of a night and we should be finished with the middle bottom skins. We are getting closer to taking the fuselage out of the jig, which is pretty exciting.
