Brief Description:  Yet even more skin prep madness at 700+ hours

Tonight I prepped the left aft side skin and started on the aft bottom skin. I almost got through the bottom skin before I pooped out. At least I have started to use my pneumatic squeezer to dimple the holes near the edge of the skins. That has helped save what is left of my shoulder and elbow. The repetitive hamering on the C-frame dimpler has left it pretty sore. I see that I have passed the 700 hour mark on my project. With approximately 20 months on the project, I have averaged about 35 hours a month. That is probably a little less than I would have thought, but I still feel as though I am making good progress. Looking ahead, I would like to finish the fuselage by September and hopefully start on the finishing kit then. With any luck, I could order my engine this time next year and the avionics and instruments in the spring of 08. I am loosely shooting for a completion date of July, 2008 with a first flight on August 8. The numerical date would be 8/8/8, not that I am into numerology or anything.
