Brief Description:  Back from Oshkosh

I got back last night from a week at Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It was great. I saw many RV-8s and 8As. I spoke with many builders and attended the Vans banquet at the Pioneer Inn, where I sat next to George and Becky Orndorf. I also spoke with Bill Randolph, who (at age 76) flew his RV-8 around the world a few months ago. At the show, I purchased this Kit Log as well as a Sioux drill and a new rivet squeezer head (now I have three). I have also received the oops rivets from Vans. I installed the first (probably of many to come) oops rivet in the HS nose rib. It worked like a charm. Then I clecoed the 706 and 708 ribs to the skin so that I can now rivet in the bottom of the nose rib to the HS skin. It is now time to really start the HS skin riveting. Later.
