Brief Description: Finished dimpling HS skins, primed one rib
Finished dimpling the top skins of the horizontal stabilizer. I then took a rib from an old RV6 tail kit I obtained many years ago and experimented with priming. I bought two rattle cans of SEM self etching primer and a bottle of degreaser. I then scuffed the rib, put on rubber gloves, cleaned the part with the degreaser and a thick paper shop towel and sprayed one side of the rib. I will look at it tomorrow and see how it performs. We will be going on a week’s vacation in two days, so I am not sure that I will be able to prime all of the parts before we leave.
