Brief Description:  Back to work on the bulkheads

I finally got back into the shop in earnest. For some reason, our cat, Cookie, decided I needed help tonight, so she stayed in the shop all night. When I sat down to study the plans, she jumped up into my lap and demanded to be petted. If I was not attentive enough, she walked on top of the plans I was studying. When I fired up the drill and the noisy band saw, she did not flinch, or even more a muscle. Cookie is shaping up to be a pretty good shop cat. Tonight, I mostly worked on the 806 bulkhead, which carries the floor ribs. The first order of business is to fit and drill two 1.4" thick aluminum bars to the back of the 806 bulkhead. These bars will carry the rear wing spars, so it is important to line them up right. You also need to taper the bottom of these bars and round the edges. I also had to fabricate two spacers to fit between the bars. Then, I drilled two gussets to the top of the 806 bulkhead and bent them 5 degrees, as per the plans. Finally, I deburred and scuffed all the parts for priming later. I also scuffed the other bulkhead pieces for priming. It is very cold tonight, so I will try to prime everything tomorrow when it is warmer.
