Tonight I cleaned out the basement to make way for the fuselage jig. I moved the wing cradle into another part of the basement to make some room. I had a fairly large pile of wood in the basement that has just been sitting there for years. Every time I would have a scrap of wood, I would keep it, thinking that I might use it some day. Of course, that is a useless strategy. The only wood I had that was somewhat good was some 1x6 boards of mahogany, which I gave to my woodworking friend, Phil Bramlett. Hopefully he can turn it into something good. I hope so, because that wood was from the childhood home of my best friend, Jim Anderson, and it means a lot to me. I hope to assemble the fuselage jig tomorrow night. I will also look around to buy another camera since I destroyed my new Nikon and the old Sony pooped out two weekends ago.
