After fitting the flaps without the benefit of the bottom skin being riveted onto the flap brace, I learned a valuable lesson. Don't fit the flaps until the bottom skin is already riveted on, or else the flaps will not fit. With the bottom skin on, it took very little time to line up the (new) flap hinge with the flap brace and the bottom skin. Then, I drilled everything out and it fit like a glove. I don't have any photos because my old digital camera gave up the ghost this past weekend. As previously reported, the "new" digital camera suffered a cracked screen and is therefore out of commission. They say it will cost over $100 to replace the screen, about half the cost of the camera to begin with. I am torn between buying a new camera and fixing the old one. In any event, I am very close to finishing the wings altogether. I perused the fuselage jig drawings and will start to obtain the lumber this week.
