No construction today. However, I had a great day at the Flight Safety training facility at Hartsfield Jackson airport in Atlanta. I am a member of the Atlanta Aero Club and Flight Safety hosted our visit to their facility. We had a chance to fly $10 million full motion simulators all afternoon. I got to fly a Lockheed Jetstar (4 engines) a Lear Model 60, an Embraer Brazilia and a Canadair Regional Jet. What a blast! The really amazing thing is that most of these jets had state of the art electronic flight instruments systems (EFIS) and that this technology is filtering down to homebuilts. The EFIS screen that I hope to put into my plane is not that different than those I flew today. I can't wait till I get to cockpit construction.
