Brief Description:  Finished riveting top skin on left wing

Tonight was a big night! Miss Vick came down to the basement to help finish riveting the top skins to the left wing. She manned (or, I guess womanned) the 3 pound bucking bar while I back riveted from the back side of the wing. She really had to push on the bar to keep all of the rivets flush. All night, I only had to drill out 3 rivets, and they were all my fault. A little tip. Squeeze the bottom row of rivets with a manual rivet squeezer. Trying to back rivet them creates a mess because there is not enough room to fit the back rivet set. I used the manual rivet squeezer because you have to finness the head in there to reach the back side of the rivets. A pneumatic squeezer is just a little too difficult to handle, so the manual squeezer works best. In the end, we admired our handiwork and I wrote "Miss Vick", the name of our ship, on the wing tip.
