Brief Description: Riveted right leading edge to wing spar

Tonight was an arduous and frustrating experience. It was difficult to set the rivets attaching the leading edge ribs to the spar with 1/8 in. driven rivets. It was not nearly so difficult with the left wing. Oh, well, pride goeth before the fall. I had to drill out several rivets to get them all right. As with the left wing, I used pull rivets for one of the ribs. Next, I squeezed the 3/32 in. rivets in the top and bottom leading edge skins to fasten them to the spar. That went somewhat easier, but I still had to drill out and reset 2 rivets in the bottom side. One rivet was so boogered that I had to use an "oops" rivet, which has the same size head, but one size larger shank to fill out a boogered hole. In the end, all is well. I now have two wings with two leading edges on them. Next, I will set the fuel tanks on the spars and prepare to rivet on the top wing skins. Sorry, no photos tonight. Besides, it looks the same as the left wing.
