Brief Description:  Prepared left leading edge for riveting

I had a big Saturday before leaving for Sun-N-Fun tomorrow. In the morning, Jim and I went to Atlanta Imports, a local mechanic shop that deals exclusively with British cars. Jim is restoring an Austin Healy BJ8 to almost new condition and he visits that shop on a regular and recurring basis. We spent over an hour in the back with a mechanic who also restores old race cars and races them in vintage classic events. There were racing Jaguars, Spitfires and even an old Elva. Way cool. Then, we returned to my shop where we riveted some holes in his valve cover. After Jim left, it was back on the airplane. First, I removed the blue plastic from the rivet lines on the left leading edge skin. Then, I deburred the skin and the ribs. Next, I scuffed the skin and the ribs before dimpling everything. Last, I cleaned everything with solvent and primed the inside skin as well as the ribs. I clecoed everything back together so that I will be ready to rivet when I return from Lakeland.
