Brief Description: Installed baggage floor and side panels
Before I started this, I had to rivet the baggage ribs to the F-706 frame. I should have done this a long time ago. Big mistake to wait.
I lowered the fuselage onto some 12" saw horses. This improved access a lot, but to work on the floor, I am still leaning over the longeron edge of teh fuselage, to the floor (about 24"). With the cleco's, my chest and stomach took a major bruising.
Finished riveting the ribs.
Purchased some 1/4" soundproofing neopreme from Aircraft spruce. Lined the side baggage panel are and the baggage area floor, then installed the panels.
This is the first time I have used a lot of pop-rivets. OOOOPHA. So much easier. Next time, maybe I'll build a zenith airplane. What a difference!
