Went to Leesburg Airport to pick up airplane after avionics work. The vendor needed to clean out the hangar for some event.
The trailer was covered with 3" of solid ice. The wind was blowing at 35 mph and it was about 26 degrees outside. A perfect day to carry a high, light, hollow aluminum object!
Between traveling to Leesburg, shrink wrapping the airplane, loading on the trailer, tying everything down, crawling back home, and unloading back into the garage - 9 hours of miserable stuff.
The good news, is N1119A is back in the garage ready to resume work.
