I have been remiss in updating my log. All the work showing on the next three entries took place in the past week 12-24 through 12-31. I am getting the canopy done, but in order to see if the slider works properly, all those cleco's on the rear deck had to go. I was putting off riveting the top deck due to access limitations - but I can't put it off any longer.
I was able to kidnap Audrey's boyfriend Daniel to help me rivet. He is 27, 5'10" and about 150 pounds - 33 years younger and 80 pounds lighter than I am. He was elected to crawl around in the fuselage.
He works in an operating room and is used to coordinated action with others.
He was a terrific helper.
When we finished, I tried to treat him and Audrey to a restaurant. They didn't want to go out, so I cooked them a homemade dinner to say thankyou.
