Brief Description:  Attempted to start engine

Got togethere with the wise old men and pulled the airplane out of the hanger to attempt an engine start again.

Tied airplane to my truck (in case the brakes didn't work).

Engine fired and ran smooth on the 2nd crank - success - very happy.

Throttled back to 1000 and attempted to test magnetos. Right magneto is dead. When switched to the right - engine died.

Took the magneto off and attempted to bench test. P--leads are fine. Capacitor is fine. All else looks good. Tried to get the two mechanics at KFDK to bench test magneto, but was told mag needs to be sent out to Mag Shop. Boxed it up and sent it off to Aircraft Accessories in Tulsa, OK.

While plane was out of hanger, noticed that brakes were leaking fluid - no good. Inspected brake lines at hull penetration, and lines seem cracked. Good news- I have braided line replacements that I never uised. They are better anyway.
