Over the past two weeks, I have not been too good about keeping up my log.
After getting the wings on, I realized i needed to dismount them again and put on platenuts for the wing root flashings. I also needed to put platenuts on the tail surfaces for the tail flashing.
A couple of big steps backwards. Wings off. Platenuts installed. Wings back on. Tail off. Platenuts installed. Tail back on. That killed about 14 hours last weekend.
This weekend, I was determined to put the permanent bolts in anchoring the wing spar to the fuselage. Each one takes 8 bolts. Two of the bolts take two hours each. Impossible to reach. What a pain in the ass!!!!!. The other 6 go in in 30 minutes or less.
