Brief Description:  Spar extension completion and attachment

Painted then riveted the assembly together. When attaching to the wing, I had to make absolutely sure the spar extension was straight and inline with the rest of the spar. I am finding out that my work table is "close" to being flat, but not quite flat enough in all directioins. It's only off by a couple millimeters here and there, but I don't think that's acceptable when trying to ensure the wing assemblies are true and straight. I was able to work around it for now, but can see I'll have to fix it before I get to the ribs. The extension were attached with a combination of rivets and bolts. The packages of hardware are labeled well, with their appropriate MS or part number on each package. The problem is, that the plans are sorta vague as to exactly what hardware to use. I had to go to the Design and Constructions Standards document and see how many threads should be showing, what nut to use, and how many washers are acceptable. The drawings could be a bit clearer in this aspect, as I spent quite a bit of time just researching what hardware confirguration to use.
