Once the position of the trim tab fork was determined, I positioned it on each of the trim tabs and marked where the rivnuts were to go. Drilled holes for the rivnut bases, then installed. Pretty straight foreward. The rivnut tool I got from aircraft spruce was inexpensive and did the job well. I couldn't see doing a lot of rivnuts with this tool, but for small jobs it's perfect.
