Brief Description: Drilled skin hinge line to final size
Positioned elevator onto the stabilizer and drilled skin to final size. Since the skin holes were #30 size and the rear spar & hinge were already #20 size, I decided to drill the skin from the bottom side. I used the spar & hinge as my guide for drilling the skin. I had to purchase a 6" drill bit in order to reach the bottom side of the rear spar. I also purchase some wing nut clecos to hold the elevator securely to the stabilier while I was flippmg it over. They are a great addition to my tools! Deburred all the holes and applied Cortec.
