Brief Description:  Aft fuselage

10-20. Riveted on rudder stops per step 1. Dimpled all nut plates per step 2 on side skins and riveted. Performed the optional step 3 for flush access panels. Countersunk the holes on the side skins and longerons for countersunk screws. Riveted nut plates into place.

10-21. Installed the snap bushings into place called out in step 1.

Routed the rudder cables as required and coiled up excess in the front. Machinined countersunk the holes in the cable guide in steps 3. Riveted them into place on the 1473 L/R Side skins. Went very well. Looks nice.

10-22. Decided to go with a heavier duty static system than vans had. Not real impressed with the hollowed out rivet. Purchased the static system from Cleavland tools. Had to drill a 1/2 inch hole on either side where vans calls out the static. Prosealed the fittings into place and let cure over night. Ran all the hoses and fittings as per the vans plans and secured excess up front. Looks awesome. Much better that stock.
