Brief Description:  Elevator

Holding off on 9-24 and the trim tab actuator. I don't like the molex connectors and are not correct for an environmental environment. Going to change the connectors to a high density 15 pin D-sub. Will finish that up down the road when I see how the fuselage harness is going to be.


Continued on 9-25 Stetp 6. Don and I rolled the elevator leading edges with a 1 inch pvc. Definately took 2 people and turned out virtually perfect on both left and right.

9-26. Trimmed down the counter balance weights per drawings. Attached with the specified hardware and applied loctite 262 high strength thread lock to the bolt threads. Torqued bolts to 42 inch pounds using 14 lbs as part of the run on friction. 28 lbs nut torque.
