9-20. Positioned elevator on work bench with shims such as to utilize the special bucking bar in step 1-4. I had the option to use the pop rivets but went with AN426 rivets. Riveted the aft spar. Went very well with no issues. Special bucking bar worked great. Step 6. Pop riveted all the ribs together. Had no problem with access as mentioned in plans
Step 7-8. Clecod the gusset to the root rib. Placed the front spar into position and clecoed. Pop riveted the front spar to the forward side of the ribs. All good. Riveted 1410 reinforcement doubler to the rear spar.
9-21. Step 1-5. Riveted aft flance to E905 root rib and rear spar. Access was tight but got it with a small bucking bar. Finished riveting the skins and upper and lower flanges as stated in step 5.
