Brief Description:
Right Elevator
Continued and scuffed the rib locations and trailing edge area with aluminum oxide sandpaper. Primed parts and skins with SEM etching primer.
9-16...Riveted the 906 root rib to the fwd spar as required. Riveted the 903 and 904 counterbalance ribs together as required. Easy.
Riveted the hinge reinforcement plates and nutplates.
9-17. Riveted the counterbalance skins. No twist. Looks good. Step 2. Riveted the 605 Elevator horn to the front spar.
Step 3. Clecod the 1008 ribs and shear clips to aft spar and riveted.
