Finished up dimpling the trim access doubler and riveted nutplates. Pretty easy. Assembled trim pushrod trim horn.
Began trim tab prep. Dimpled E-1406 and E11407 skins. Countersunk 1423 trailing edge both sides. 9-13 step 6 dimpled 1405 trim tab spar and countersunk top flange. looks good.
Step 8. Masked off areas where 1408 ribs will be installed and scuffed with aluminum oxide sandpaper. Primed other areas.
9-14. Step 1-6. Riveted trim tab horn to E1407 skin. Riveted trim tab spar to skin. Pain in the ass. Applied tank sealant to both sides of trim tab ribs. Placed on bottom skin. Used double sided tape 3M to both sides of trim trailing edge. Assembled trim tab and riveted top flance and 1403 trim tab hinge. Looks very nice. Very straight trailing edge. Put aside for sealant to cure.
