Brief Description:  Fuselage Skin, And Organization

Six hours yesterday, two today. For starters, I moved my build bench a few feet forward so that I would be able to continue the aft fuselage without punching a hole in the rear wall of the garage. Not that this would have been a deal breaker, per se, but I thought this might be quicker. Then I re-levelled the table, screwed in another 2"x4" to widen the table a little bit and help hold the two pieces together. Then I flipped the fuselage upside down.

I removed the landing gear doublers that will eventually lie over the belly skin, and positioned the 6061T6 skin. After a lot of clamp, measure, adjust, re-clamp, and re-measure, I have the belly skin cut and drilled for install. Once I get some 1/16" angle aluminum in to provide anchor points to the spar for the pilot and passenger seat bulkheads, I can skin the bottom of the plane. Technically, I could do that now, but why make the measuring and fitting harder than it has to be?
