I now have the basic frame of the windscreen built and assembled. I still need to finish the flanges for mounting the glazing onto, and the port side spandrel still needs to be cut and fit as well. Once both spandrels are in place I can make the 'liquid shims' to anchor them in place. Jon pulled together some micro, flox, measuring cup, stir sticks, and lots of good advice to help me with this. He also is letting me borrow his tail and rudder patterns, and tail jig, so I need to get cracking on those.
The silly pink stack on top of the windscreen is foam. At some point I will be cutting and shapping that until I have a plug I can coat with fiberglass.
