Brief Description:  Interior Fitment

So I'm getting closer to finishing the fitment of the pilot and passenger spaces. Both kydex armrests are in for the pilot, and the left hand one is in for passenger. I also have the seat floor in for the passenger, and traction tape covering the approriate areas. The cover for the control stick fittings is also in place and fitted.

Left to do is the right-hand passenger kydex armrest, a couple of trim pieces, the cover for the control stick fitting in the pilot's seat, and the F2-F4 footwell trim pieces. I also need to fit the air vents for the front and rear seats. And lastly, I need to think about a final color for the grey primer on the interior. The first and second batches obviously don't match, and also don't have the durability to hold up to high touch surfaces. So that's on the list.

So the above buttons up the habitable areas, allowing me to install another small modification. The fuselage skin between the firewall and the F4 bulkhead isn't structural. But it does provide easy access to the avionics and electrical bays, the primary flight controls, and the brakes. So those are going to become very large access panels, allowing me to very nearly skelatonize the front of the plane when I need to perform maintenance. Then on to the canopy.
