Brief Description:  Front Seat, Cont'd

After a bit of work, I got the structure of the front seat measured, cut, fit, drilled, painted, and installed. So, you know, yay.

I managed to ding up my left hand a bit. I remembered my ear and face protection, but didn't clamp down a piece I was cutting on the chop saw. That was a mistake a already know not to make, and I did it again. Good news, no serious damage. Now I just have to remmber not to do that again.

So the vertical angles provide back support, with what vendor *thinks* is 550 paracord laced between them to give me better support and breathability. In point of practical fact, this surely isn't 550, but it will do for my purposes.

The verticals also support the back rest, so the pilot and passenger can use the bar to grab onto for ingress and egress. The verticals are bolted to brackets that fit across the top of the wing spar. Each bracket also has two rivets driven into the front seat structure. Between these, the seat back isn't going anywhere.

As shown, about 1/2 of the primary paracord lacing is installed. I thought this would be easy; in point of practical fact, it really isn't. I drilled 3/16" holes for the lacing, and in retrospect 1/4" or 5/16" would have been better choices.
