Brief Description:  Front Seat

It took a few tries, but I got the upper front seatback cut and installed, and I've made the front seatback vertical supports. The cross member is 10 3/4" x 11" x 10 3/4" of 6061-T6 angle, and the third picture shows the mounting points. This will make for a comfortable seatback angle, and clear space for the rear seater's knees to clear the seatback. The second picture shows one of the two vertical supports I've made, to allow the seatbak to bear the weight of a passenger ebarking or disembarking. The flat tab is bent to a 30 degree angle to mate to the seat back, and the lower edge is cut to a 25 degree angle to rest on the main spar.

Although not shown, the two verticals have been match drilled for 550 paracord lacing to be woven to form the seatback. This will make the seat more comfortable during all those hot California summer days.

The first picture shows my dad, who came over to help me the other day. Trying to work out the measurements and angles on my own, while testing the human interface fitment wasn't a lot of fun. That was an incredible amount of assistance.
