Brief Description:  Cabin and Controls

Again, this entry is covering the last few days.

Got the control ends over to a local machine shop to weld. They also have the bits and pieces for making the primary and secondary control sticks. Hopefully they'll have those back to me this coming week for priming and assembly. The local shop is... very laid back. Nearly horizontal. Good guys though.

I made up templates and measurements for the interior cabin side walls and foot rests. These are shown in image 3. Images 1 and 2 show the fusealge looking aft and the fuselage looking forward.

I now have the rear seat's footrests installed, the front seat interior sidewalls installed, the rear seat sidewalls installed the rear seat lower safety restraint brackets installed, and I've test fit the rear rudder pedals. I also modified the seatpan above the airbrake, to provide more room to work.

I decided to forgo using the space under the footrests for storage. Just becuase I *can* fit an ELT in there, doesn't mean I need to. I'll settle for having the footrests built to accomodate providing a place to stand when boarding and disembarking.
