Brief Description:  Front Seat Pan and Legrest

Got the front seat bottom and front leg rest installed. Ordinarily this would wait until very late in the build, as a heavily modified fuel valve would be installed between the pilot's legs. As someone who doesn't like the phrases 'heavily modified fuel valve' or 'between the pilot's legs,' I have respectfully declined.

I'll be running two electric fuel pumps, one for the port tank, and one for the starboard. Then I can use the fuel pump switches in lieu of a valve. This also means running the fuel lines literally anywhere other than right down the middle of the crew compartment.

I recognize that this is the Eggenfeller fuel system, and he is what I would politely refer to as a divisive figure in the experimental aviation community. However, it is a flying and tested design, it works well, is logical, and solves several problems.

In any event. I'm looking forward to being able to sit in my aircraft and make propeller noises. Real soon now, me and Snoopy have a date with the Red Baron.
