Brief Description:  Bulkheads A1, A2, and A3

A couple of hours at a time, I've build and primed the A1 bulkhead that is installed just to the fore of the forward control stick and the two A3 bulkheads that hold the elevator control torque tube bearings mounted between bulkheads A1 and A2. These were fitted, tweaked, clamped, drilled, cleco'd, and finally riveted.

My plan was to install the leg supports, four triangular braces that run fore and aft from bulkhead A1 in the direction of the firewall. The pilot's lower legs rest on these as needed. If I'd actually installed them, they'd be in the second image, running along the bottom skin of the fuselage toward the camera. Alas, I brought the pieces I'd cut out over to test fit, and only then realize I'd made them about 1:2 scale. I have no idea how I managed this. But unless Dobby the House Elf is going to be flying this plane, these pieces just aren't going to work.

Next task, figure out how I scaled down the templates, to make sure I don't do that again. Then print up new templates, cut new pieces, and get those installed.
